As anyone who knows us knows, we’re a vibrant bunch of people who like nothing better than to get out there into our industry and dig into the nitty gritty of what we do with people interested in everything that lead generation can achieve. We therefore jumped at the chance to get involved with the recent IAB Practical Workshop on How Best to Generate Leads Online which was held at the IAB in London on Wednesday 10th October.

Magnetise Treks the Inca Trail for Charity

We wanted to let you know about a fantastic charity initiative two of our team are about to embark on. Lucy  Zakrzewska, Magnetise’s Publisher & Acquisition Manager and Tom Lees, Senior Account Exec, are heading off up the Inca Trail to raise money for Plan UK, the global children’s charity. The organisation works with children in the world’s poorest countries to help them build a better future. With their support children, families and entire communities have to the power to move themselves from a life of poverty to a future with opportunity.

In the last year, we have grown considerably. 2011 saw key hires for the business who have really been making their presence felt. Kevin Rice, Magnetise Media’s Commercial Director, has been instrumental in identifying and driving forwards a range of new business opportunities and services for our fast growing customer base. Our Media team has also been powering forth. Lucy and Isobel are doing sterling work driving further success for our TopFox white label competition and AdCentre platforms respectively, while Diarmuid and Tom are creating fantastic relationships and campaigns for our In-Banner display advertising solution.

Magnetise Supports the Launch of Casabu, the UK’s Hot New Private Sale Site

We’re very pleased to be working with Casabu, the UK’s new daily private sale website for mums, babies and kids, to drive customer acquisition and lead generation around its launch in April 2012. The campaign (interactive demo available here), which launched on 18th April, is placing interactive banner adverts across top tier UK publishers, including newspaper websites and popular parenting sites and blogs, and offering consumers £5 off their first purchase.  The campaign creative uses children’s illustrations that encapsulate Casabu’s premium but accessible and playful branding and provides consumers with a rich and enticing window into Casabu’s world of Europe’s coolest brands at up to 70% off retail prices.

Great news. We have been selected as a Finalist for Red Herring’s Top 100 Europe award, a prestigious list honouring the year’s most promising private technology ventures from the European business region.
